E. Scott Crist

Mr
Mr.
Crist is managing partner of Crist Ventures and a general partner at
Texas Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. He has an
extensive background as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist,
having founded and profitable grown two technology companies to
revenues of over $100 million each during the last decade.
Mr.
Crist was formerly founder and CEO of Telscape International, an
integrated communications company for emerging markets, and prior to
that, was President and CEO for Matrix, a telecommunications company
that Inc.
Magazine
ranked 7th on its list of the 500 fastest growing private companies
in the U.S. in 1995. Earlier in his career, he was VP of
Acquisitions for Trammell Crow Group, specializing in U.S. capital
market transactions, and previously worked for IBM and Booz-Allen
Hamilton. Mr. Crist has an MBA from the Kellogg School at
Northwestern University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC
State University.
Mr.
Crist is a former Entrepreneur of the Year by CNN/
NASDAQ/
Ernst & Young. He also sits on the boards of several public and
private companies. He is on the Alumni Advisory boards for the
Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University and teaches
venture capital and business plan development at Rice University's
Jones Graduate School of Business.
